comes as no surprise we're destabilized:
I sometimes get accused (by the right!) of being a symp for the CIA. This piece, fresh out of the Washington Independent kitchen, is among the reasons why. In it I ponder: is it right for CIA interrogators to live in fear of prosecution for torture when the ones who ordered them to torture or constructed elaborate legal pretexts for the torture -- Bush, Cheney, Gonzales, Yoo, Addington -- will die unperturb'd in their own beds? Guess what my answer is!
