The Clinton people pull a Time/OJ on Obama, and yet Samantha Power is to be criticized for calling HRC a "monster"? There are a number of words for people who exploit racism to win themselves power, and "monster" is the most polite among them.

Hey, do any of the new theorists worry about creeping imperialism? I mean, if we get really good and ruling over hostile natives, won't we be tempted to try it more often?

Do these guys talk about that? This has been a problem for democracy since, well, Pericles.

Chris, this will be the subject of one of these pieces. After all, who prosecutes a counterinsurgency? Either an occupying power or a government that does not command the loyalty of its people.
