No. 164-07 IMMEDIATE RELEASE February 12, 2007 The Department of Defense announced today the death of three soldiers who were supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.They died Feb. 9 in Baqubah, Iraq, of wounds suffered from an explosion during breaching operations.The soldiers were assigned to the 1st Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas.Media Contact: (703) 697-5131/697-5132 Public/Industry(703) 428-0711 DoD Identifies Army Casualties Killed were: Staff Sgt.
