April 09, 2007 Media Contact: (703) 697-5131/697-5132 Public/Industry(703) 428-0711 DoD Identifies Army Casualties The Department of Defense announced today the death of two soldiers who were supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.They died from wounds suffered Apr. 4 in Taji, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near their vehicle. Killed were: Staff Sgt. Jerry C. Burge, 39, of Carriere, Miss. Cpl. Joseph H. Cantrell IV, 23, of Ashland, Ky.
